Football Trip

Imagine walking through the hallowed halls of one of the most historic football clubs in the world. Your students will get to experience the electric atmosphere of a live match and witness some of the most skilled players in action. And that's not all - they'll also get to train at the same facilities where their football heroes prepare for their next big game.

At Liverpool Stadium, your students will be coached by some of the best in the business, honing their skills and learning new techniques to take back to their own teams. From passing and shooting to teamwork and strategy, they'll develop their football abilities in a supportive and inspiring environment.

But this trip isn't just about football. Your students will also get to explore the rich history and culture of the UK, from the bustling streets of London to the rolling hills of the countryside. They'll visit famous landmarks, taste delicious local cuisine, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Breakfast and transfer from London Arrival airport to South Midlands-based accommodation base for the 14-day programme.

Check-in to Hotel. Introduction to the programme by Football Expert. Welcome Dinner in the hotel.

Day 2

Visits to Loughborough University (No. 1 rated sports university in the UK) and Leicester City Football Club Training ground (rated in the top 3 Football Training ground venues in Europe). Presentation by LCFC Head of Facility on the future of Football in a Sustainable World.

Stadium Tour at Kingpower Stadium. Dinner and rest.

Learning outcomes: insight into sports science, facility management related to career, and the impact of climate change on elite sports.

Day 3

Breakfast and depart for Kilsby Road Training Centre. Series of physical training sessions providing examples of programs undertaken by leading football academy players. Lunch break en route to Silverstone Motor Racing Academy and discussion on how students are mentally prepared to work in one of the world's most demanding and competitive sports. Dinner and rest.

Learning outcomes: self-awareness, courage, and resilience.

Day 4

Get ready for the ultimate English football experience! Join us as we depart for the prestigious English F.A St Georges Park National Training Centre, where you'll embark on an exclusive tour of the facility and engage in discussions on how the English F.A provides training and development for players and support staff at the highest levels of the game.

Day 5

After an enriching experience at the training centre, we'll head back to our residential location for an introduction to 4A training for elite sports professionals. You'll dive into the Self-Awareness to Growth development model with exciting classroom and practical activities before enjoying a delicious dinner.

The learning outcomes of this session include gaining insight into personal attributes and career choices.

Day 6

The excitement continues as we head to the beautiful New Forest for a full day at the NEW FOREST Insight Games Centre Southampton. This action-packed day will include lunch and dinner at a hotel, and you'll develop your affective communication skills and leadership team building abilities. Plus, you'll learn how to navigate different cultures and environments like a pro!

Day 8

In London, you'll visit Wembley Stadium Arena and Nike World before enjoying some free time in the city with dinner and tickets to a professional game. You'll gain insights into culture, history, and elite performance study.


Day 10

We'll travel to Liverpool John Moores University Nutrition for Sport Research Centre and visit Liverpool F.C's Anfield Stadium for a tour. You'll gain valuable insights into sports science, including nutrition, physicality, and well-being.

Day 12

We'll have breakfast and depart for the airport, where you'll reflect on your personal attributes and career choices.

Day 7

We'll also visit a professional game venue (to be agreed upon) and enjoy dinner at the stadium or en route. If you're looking for some free time, you can opt for an escorted visit to Birmingham City Centre. Later, we'll continue to develop your decision-making skills and team-building abilities with a Trainer before checking in at our London hotel.

Day 9

Get ready for a day of golfing fun, including coaching and group competitions, and lunch. We'll continue to develop your teamwork and tenacity skills before returning to our accommodation for dinner.

Day 11

After an exciting day of football team games and exercises at the Kilsby Road Training Centre, you'll have the afternoon for rest and leisure. In the evening, we'll celebrate our tour's end with a gala dinner and presentations that highlight your teamwork skills.
