    Japan Part-Time Travel Consultant

    We are looking for a passionate travel enthusiast with in-depth knowledge of Japan's culture and geography to provide part-time support during US working hours. This role is perfect for someone who has extensively traveled within Japan and is looking to share their passion and knowledge with others.  

    Location: Japan

    Position Type: Part Time

    Flexible working hours with the expectation of working at least 2 hours per week day

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries during working hours. 

    • Assist in creating content related to traveling in Japan. 

    • Help create and coordinate documents and logistics essential for facilitating school trips. 

    • Work with local stakeholders for logistics, making bookings and enquiries as needed to facilitate programming.  

    • Collaborate with our international team to ensure seamless support across time zones.

    Requirements:

    • Passionate about traveling in Japan with extensive travel experience in the region. 

    • Basic office skills with proficiency in written and spoken English. 

    • Ability to work remotely and independently. 

    • Residing in Japan is advantageous for possible in-person training.

    Responsibilities:

    • Working with other staff members to prepare and execute our programs with the goal of meeting and exceeding client’s (teacher and student) expectations.

    • Working directly with English-speaking clients to design highly personalized experiential education programs in China and beyond.

    • Act as major point of contact between the client and operation teams to manage priorities and ensure deliverables are met

    • Prepare all documents for program, follow up program status

    • Acting as a representative of our company at client-facing events and program orientations

    • Ensuring our risk management and safety procedures are followed to the letter on every single program

    • Researching new vendors based on price and quality and selecting them based on the vendor management plan

    • Communicating with the vendors and performing the quality check, auditing, dealing with the price and improvements

    • Make necessary bookings for each program, including but not limited to (accommodation, tickets, restaurant, transport) and make adjustments on itinerary if necessary

    • Deal with any emergency happens before, during/after the program

    • Prepare budget form for program and try to operate trips within budget

    • Follow operation SOP and assist to improve it

    • Prepare all needed materials for program and be with the trip on the ground when needed

    • Go follow the program on the ground when needed (at least 5 times a year

    Responsibilities:

    • Is responsible for managing project teams and making key project decisions where needed

    • Is responsible for maintaining safety and academic standards on their projects

    • Designs and refines itineraries and timetables, activities, as well as creating equipment lists

    • Either trains and leads programs on the ground (for large, new, or otherwise key projects) or is responsible for briefing and training freelancer program leaders with the goal of making sure our standards and client expectations are clear and setting the on-the-ground staff up for success

    • Works with the project team to help anticipate and resolve issues based on their on-the-ground experience

    • Works with the Project Coordinator to help clarify and manage client expectations

    • Works with the Operator to select suppliers and ensure they have a clear understanding of our and our clients’ expectations, as well as to ensure equipment and materials are purchased and arrive in time

  • Learning Aid Designer Intern - Remote

    We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Learning Aid Designer to join our team part-time. This role focuses on enhancing our experiential learning programs by designing industry-leading, high-quality learning aids, such as workbooks, that align with our educational goals and standards.

    Position Type: Part Time

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Project Leaders: Work closely with individual Project Leaders to understand the specific needs and objectives for learning aids required for different programs.

    • Design and Development: Design and develop engaging and effective learning aids, including graphics, layouts, and overall design aesthetics.

    • Content Review: Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of the content received from Project Leaders, with a special focus on checking and refining English language use.

    • Adherence to Standards: Follow design standards and guidelines set by the Co-Head of Operations to maintain consistency and quality across all materials.

    Requirements:

    • Has Relevant Experience: Experience in graphic design, particularly in educational content or publishing.

    • Has Strong Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in English with the ability to edit and refine content for clarity and effectiveness.

    • Is Proficient in Design Software: Strong skills in basic design software, in particular Canva.

  • BD Intern – Shanghai/Shenzhen/Guangzhou

    We are seeking a Business Development Intern to join the  team in either Shanghai, Shenzhen or Guangzhou. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Team, providing support for initiatives in the inbound, outbound and domestic markets. Additionally, you will represent the Education team on key cross-team projects. 

    The ideal candidate is bilingual (Mandarin and English) and a strong desire to succeed in a competitive industry. This is a temporary position lasting four months, with an immediate start date.

    The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the Business Development Manager who is responsible for our clients in South China, gaining valuable knowledge in strategy and management. Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to a full-time position. Depending on the intern's skills and the firm's needs, travel within China may be required for work purposes.
